Schedule Meg Johnson for your event!
"When life gets too hard to stand, just keep on rollin"
Meg Johnson’s motto came from her own personal story of accidentally jumping off a cliff and landing herself forever in a wheelchair - as a quadriplegic. Her life was too hard to stand, literally, but she picked herself back up and kept on rolling. Her unique story will touch the hearts of your employees and they will leave with confidence knowing that when their life gets too hard to stand, they can keep on rolling!
Your employees will be spellbound by Meg’s quiet confidence. They’ll be blown away by her accomplishments. They’ll be captivated by her sweet smile and hard-candy attitude.
They’ll cry with her as she shares her story.
They’ll laugh with her as she shows them that it’s just the same as theirs.
Her no-nonsense approach to life’s problems will take your employees through a whirlwind of self-introspection. After listening to her jaw-dropping stories, your employees will...
Feel grateful for their work
Since the day she was paralyzed, Meg spent months craving work. She felt useless, worthless, and ugly as she had to accept help for very basic tasks like eating and picking her nose (not at the same time). Meg began volunteering at a local elementary school. She couldn’t do even the simplest of tasks (like writing) and she admittedly “could have been replaced by a desk.” But as she worked, she says that “there was no replacing what happened inside me.”
Become confident and innovative problem solvers
After hearing Meg, your employees will begin to realize their effect in the workplace. They will begin taking responsibility for solving problems and care more about the outcomes. Using stories from her own life, Meg will teach your team the skills they will need to close the GAPS between them and success. Whether they’re the secretary or in the sales department, your employees will begin to recognize their potential and become more personally involved with their work.
Make a positive financial difference to your organization
Meg will increase your businesses’ profitability through greater employee productivity. Your business will benefit financially after Meg teaches your employees that whatever they are, they should be a good one. Whether they are the senior account executive or a “little girl in a wheelchair,” your employees will leave with the drive to make each day better than the last. Your newly motivated employees will be more involved, more effective, and thus, more profitable.

Since being paralyzed in 2004, Meg has demonstrated that physical barriers cannot hold her back from extraordinary accomplishments. Meg is an author and an artist. She founded and directs Ms. Wheelchair Utah, Inc, and is president of her own speaking company, Keep on Rollin’ LLC. Adding to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Meg is the creator of Intermountain Healthcare’s Service Outreach Program.
Using funny, not-so-funny, and downright scary stories from her life, Meg
captivates her audiences. Her youth makes her message all the more powerful:
If she can do it, so can you.
Undoubtedly inspirational, Meg also focuses her presentations to teach key elements, valuable in the business world and the real world alike:
Execution
“Do what you can, where you are, with what you got.” Teddy Roosevelt couldn’t have said it better and not many live it as well as Meg Johnson: no legs, no hands, no problem. By example and a few tried and true tips, Meg will teach your team what it takes to execute their plan of action.
Problem Solving
Two pieces of string. A broken curtain rod. And a really good throw. Innovative problem solving takes uncountable shapes. The answers are always there, someone just has to go get them. Meg will show your team that the impossible just takes one more phone call...or a well placed corn cob.
Embracing Change
After breaking her neck, Meg referred to herself as the “rag doll with an attitude.” Nothing was the same as it had once been: no more running, no more dancing, no more chopsticks. Her life looked bleak as she sat on her back porch, day after day. No one could save her from herself...except her. Meg picked herself back up and, even though she couldn’t walk anymore, she emerged as “one of the most remarkable recoveries” Intermountain Healthcare has seen.
Positive Thinking
Each workplace has its own ups and downs. Meg’s inspiring optimism and knack for the obvious will motivate your employees to turn negatives into positives. She will encourage them not to dodge the drops, but rather, to smile through the storm and recognize that growth happens not in spite of hardships, but because of them.
Every business is different: different management, different environment, different employees, and different problems. Every presentation is custom-fitted and each client is a “special needs” case. We want to know everything we can so our presentation is the very best for you!
